Commercial Parking Lot Wheel Stops

Ace Paving & Maintenance installs parking lot wheel stops that protect curbs, storefronts, landscaping, and pedestrian areas from vehicle overrun.

Wheel Stops That Do More Than Mark a Parking Space

Worn, cracked, or missing wheel stops aren’t just an eyesore. They’re a liability. Without functioning parking lot wheel stops in place, vehicles can jump curbs, damage storefronts, roll into landscaping, or create hazards for pedestrians. Since 1997, Ace Paving & Maintenance has installed concrete wheel stops, rubber wheel stops, and composite options to fit each property’s traffic volume, budget, and conditions.

  • The Right Product for Your Property

We look at your lot, your traffic, and your budget and recommend what actually makes sense. No steering you toward a premium option you don't need.

  • Set Correctly From the Start

Every stop gets installed with proper pin placement and positioning that accounts for your lot's grade and traffic patterns, so it holds without becoming a recurring maintenance issue.

  • Coordinated With Your Broader Scope

If your lot also needs sealcoating, cracksealing, or re-striping, Ace Paving & Maintenance can manage it all together. One point of contact, one project, one lot that comes out complete.

What to Expect From a Wheel Stop Installation With Ace Paving & Maintenance

Most wheel stop work comes as part of a new lot build or a milling and resurfacing project, but the process is the same either way. We start with a walkthrough of your property, assess what’s there, and give you a clear recommendation before anything gets scheduled. From there, we handle the full installation and make sure your lot is ready to use when we leave.

We Assess Before We Recommend

Before a single stop goes in the ground, we walk your lot, evaluate pin condition and stop integrity, and give you an honest read on what's needed. You'll know exactly what we're recommending and why before any work begins.

Removal and Replacement Done Clean

When old stops need to come out, we pull the pins, prep the surface, and set the new stops correctly positioned from the start. No shortcuts, no debris, no surprises on final scope.

Ready to Use When We Walk Off the Job

We coordinate installation around your property's schedule to minimize disruption to tenants and customers. When we're done, your lot is functional and there's nothing left for you to manage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are wheel stops typically included with resurfacing or new construction?

Most of the time, yes. When we’re milling and resurfacing a lot, we pull the existing wheel stop pins as part of the process. Older stops that are cracked or worn usually can’t be salvaged once they’re lifted, so replacement gets handled as part of the same project. New lots almost always include wheel stops as part of the full build-out.

Sometimes. If a stop is undamaged and the only issue is a loose pin, we can re-pin it and put it back. But stops that are cracked, broken, or being lifted during a resurfacing project typically don’t survive the move intact. We’ll assess what you have and be upfront about whether reuse makes sense before recommending replacement.

It depends on your traffic volume, budget, and what the rest of your lot looks like. Concrete wheel stops are the standard choice for most commercial properties in Metro Atlanta and come in Type 1 through Type 3. Rubber and composite options work well in specific situations. We’ll look at your property and tell you what makes sense for your specific lot.
